A Nymble Insurance resource
Why work with Nymble Insurance? Because your coverage should be in black & white.
Work with Nymble Insurance if you want one licensed Florida agency instead of a lead list. Your request goes only to Nymble. One agent shops the insurance companies we can access, explains every coverage, exclusion and deductible in plain English before you sign, and stays your agent at renewal and at claim time.
Why is one agency better than a lead marketplace?
The usual way
Fill out one online form and your phone number may be sold to a list. Agents call, often quoting from the same short list of companies, racing to be first rather than right.
The Nymble way
Your request goes to one licensed agency. We shop the companies we can access for you, then walk you through what each option actually covers.
In black & white
Before you sign, you get the important terms in writing in plain English: what's covered, what isn't, and what you pay out of pocket when something happens.
Already insured? What does your policy really say?
Hurricane deductibles, roof payment schedules, water-damage limits and ordinance-or-law coverage are where Florida homeowners get surprised. Send us your declarations page and we'll explain it in plain language, whether or not you switch.
Are you a realtor, lender or advisor?
Closings stall when buyers can't get insurance. Send your clients somewhere they'll be educated before they're quoted, and where their information isn't resold.
Who runs Insured in Black & White?
Insured in Black & White is run by Nymble Insurance LLC, a licensed Florida agency (L131669). Our licensed agents explain your coverage in plain language before you buy. More about us.
Questions Floridians ask before working with Nymble
Why work with Nymble Insurance instead of filling out a quote website?
Many quote websites pass your details to several agencies at once. With Nymble, your request goes to one licensed Florida agency. One agent shops the insurance companies we can access, explains each option in plain English and stays your agent at renewal and claim time.
Will Nymble sell or share my information with other agencies?
No. Information you submit here goes to Nymble Insurance LLC only. We don't sell or rent it and we don't run a lead marketplace. We share only what an insurance company needs to quote or write your policy.
What does “in black and white” mean?
Before you sign, we explain the parts of a Florida home policy that usually surprise people: the hurricane deductible in dollars, how the roof is settled, water-damage limits, exclusions and ordinance-or-law coverage. Then we put the trade-offs in writing.
Is Nymble Insurance licensed in Florida?
Yes. Nymble Insurance LLC is a licensed Florida insurance agency, license L131669, NPN 21626709. You can confirm agency licenses with the Florida Department of Financial Services.
I got a non-renewal notice. What should I do first?
Note the date your policy ends, find your current declarations page and contact an agent early. Starting well before the end date gives you the most options. We'll review what you have now and show you how new options compare.
Can you review my current policy even if I don't switch?
Yes. Send us your declarations page and we'll explain what it covers in plain language. If your coverage is solid, we'll tell you. There's no obligation to switch.
What is a hurricane deductible and why does it matter?
Many Florida home policies have a separate hurricane deductible, often set as a percentage of the dwelling limit rather than a flat dollar amount. On a higher dwelling limit, that percentage can mean a large out-of-pocket cost. We show it to you in dollars.
What if no private insurer will cover my home?
Citizens Property Insurance Corporation is Florida's insurer of last resort. A licensed agent can tell you whether your home may qualify and what Citizens coverage does and doesn't include.
How much does a coverage review cost?
Nothing. Nymble is paid by the insurance company when you buy a policy through us, and a review carries no obligation.
Do you only write home insurance?
Home insurance is the focus of this site, but Nymble Insurance also helps Florida clients with auto, flood, umbrella and other coverage. Ask us about what you need.
